I have problems

I have a lot of problems. Well they aren't exactly my problems - more accurately these problems are brought to me by my clients. IRS and other tax related notices, payroll errors, missing QuickBooks entires, disjointed workflow issues - I want your problems.

If there were no problems in the business office, in accounting software, there would be no need to have a support team waiting in the wings. But as there is a Murphy's Law there are indeed problems. Just when you least expect them or need them...there they are. That is where Singletrack Bookkeeping comes in. We are that support team waiting in the wings. We can address your IRS notice. We can troubleshoot your QuickBooks issue. We can work with you to help organize a workflow system that works for you. No we can't snap our fingers and make it all go away, but we work very hard to take some of the stress off your back and place it onto ours.

If you have a need in the world of small business bookkeeping, give us a shot at taking on the challenge. Don't you already feel better knowing that somebody wants your problems?

Bookkeeping is Boring

Most folks think of bookkeeping as dreadfully boring. Not me. I love it. I love all of the organizing and catagorizing. I love playing with the software & computers. I love all of the web-based tools that keeps making it more of a tech geek's dream. I love the reports and what they reveal about my business. I love saving money when I send my perfectly clean little QuickBooks file off to the accountant at tax time.  I love it when I see folks heave a sigh of relief because I fixed something for them.

These are the reasons that I started a boring bookkeeping blog. No matter what the industry, we entrepreneurs share many of the same ups and downs. We can share experiences and help each other out along the way. I'm not going to go on all day about this entry and that tax law (well maybe just occassionaly) mostly I want to share what I've learned "on the street" from the many brilliant business minds and everyday folks that make up the American small business community. I think you may agree with me - if you are in the game - that its fascinating, challenging, and more fulfilling than the corporate office could ever be.

Thanks for reading my blog!
